The Nordstrom anniversary sale is an excellent time to stock up on basics or favorites that are rarely on sale and try new things. But it can also be overwhelming.
So, for homebodies and bookworms like me, I curated just five types of products to grab on sale. These are all items I personally own and am stocking up on myself, as well as popular items generally speaking. You can’t go wrong with the must-haves below!

There’s no better feeling for a homebody than that of new pajamas. Well, perhaps wearing new pajamas while reading.
I have tried every imaginable pajama set, and Nordstrom Moonlight pajamas remain the most comfortable and long-lasting. They have a stretchy and silky feel. They wash well and can be thrown in the dryer (unlike some other high-end pajamas that need air-drying).
They rarely go on sale (I check year-round), so I stock up on every anniversary sale.

Barefoot Dreams Cardigans, Blankets & Socks
Barefoot Dreams products are truly worth the hype in my opinion.
The material feels like a super soft, stretchy, and snuggly chenille. And it washes really well.
I wear the Barefoot Dreams cardigans constantly at home.
I also find the Barefoot Dreams socks to hold up much better than other snuggly slipper socks and not show as much dirt.
My cats especially love the softness of Barefoot Dreams blanket! This is a lighter blanket that’s best for warmer temperatures.
Shopping Tip: This brand is extremely popular and tends to sell out quickly during this sale. So, shop fast.
Leggings by Spanx and Zella
Every homebody needs great leggings, and Spanx and Zella are two of my favorite brands for them.
The cult-favorite Spanx leggings are an absolute must that you will keep in your closet for years. They have a TON of compression and make you feel (and look) really slim. I always feel my absolute best in them, and I often wear them outside the house too.
Zella leggings are also really popular. They are really thick and have a lot of compression. They are more meant for casual time indoors or working out. I love to pair them with my Barefoot Dreams cardigans on rainy days while reading indoors.
I always size up in both of these brands of leggings.
Aromatherapy
Speaking of reading indoors on rainy days, this sale is a great time to stock up on aromatherapy for reading ambiance and other self-care time.

Bombas Socks
The popular Bombas socks are high-quality and charitable. (The company donates a pair of socks for every pair sold.)
I love how snuggly they mold to your foot with their honeycomb technology and don’t stretch out. They also wash great.
Other than Black Friday, sales on Bombas socks are kind of rare, so now is a good time to buy them.
